General

Diddly Health is your guide along the path of lifelong wellness, with convenient virtual care from experienced providers.

Begin by visiting our medical weight loss page, make a payment via Stripe, then fill out our intake form with your medical history, weight loss goals, and ID. A provider will review this for a decision on your treatment, with potential follow-up for further discussion.

Medical weight loss refers to a comprehensive and supervised approach to achieving weight loss under the guidance of healthcare professionals, typically involving physicians and other specialized medical personnel. This method differs from conventional weight loss programs in that it integrates medical expertise to address underlying health issues, such as obesity-related conditions or metabolic disorders.

Medical weight loss programs often include a combination of personalized diet plans, exercise regimens, behavioral therapy, and, when necessary, prescription medications if medically appropriate. The focus is on creating a tailored and sustainable weight loss plan that considers an individual’s unique health profile and medical history. Regular monitoring and adjustments are made to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the weight loss journey, making medical weight loss a more specialized and evidence-based approach than many commercial weight loss programs.

Expect noticeable weight reduction, diminished appetite, improved glycemic control, and potentially other health benefits like reduced cardiovascular risks.

With Diddly Health, obtaining a GLP-1 prescription is straightforward. Begin by filling out a health questionnaire, where you can select your preferred GLP-1 medication.

A consultation with a medical provider will help decide if GLP-1 medication fits your weight loss journey based on your health profile and goals.

Adults with obesity or those overweight with related health issues might qualify, with eligibility determined by BMI and health assessment by a healthcare provider.

At this time, the assessment questionnaire can only be completed by the person seeking care.

Diddly Health is available to adults 18 years old or older in all 50 states within the United States. However, each condition has its own treatment protocol designed by healthcare professionals and in compliance with your state’s regulations.

Disqualification can happen if certain health criteria like BMI or specific health conditions are not met. It's also based on clinical assessment for your safety and suitability for the program.

Asynchronous care allows patients to receive care without the need for live interaction with clinicians. Patients complete a clinician-approved assessment questionnaire at their convenience, which is then reviewed by a clinician to determine the appropriate treatment. Asynchronous telehealth allows you to receive care without live interaction with clinicians. First, you complete an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) provided intake questionnaire to fill out at your convenience. Then, the medical provider reviews your submissions and responds accordingly to enable flexible, timely treatment with medication shipped directly to you.

In some cases, an assigned provider may request a video conference. If so, you'll receive an email to schedule your appointment. If requested, this appointment must be kept to ensure Rx approval.

If your provider requires more details, they'll contact you via the contact information you've provided.

We prioritize your privacy and data security. Our platform complies with all relevant privacy laws and employs stringent security protocols to protect your information. For details, please see our Privacy Policy.

Please email [email protected] and our patient experience team will escalate to our clinical team if appropriate.

Billing Information

The Diddly Health Weight Loss Program starts at $149/month for a 1-month supply of GLP-1 medication. This price includes everything you need to start and maintain your weight loss journey including the initial consultation with the doctor and your medication. Shipping is free and there are no additional fees.

Diddly Health does not accept insurance. As well, there is no insurance required to join the program.

If your insurance won’t cover the cost of the medication, you may receive significant savings through the Diddly Health Weight Loss Program.

The program is billed monthly.  Patients typically start at a lower dosage to allow their bodies to adjust to the medication gradually.

After approval, you'll receive an email with a payment receipt containing a link to "Manage/Cancel Your Subscription." Clicking this takes you to Stripe, where you can cancel your subscription directly.

Charges occur before your initial service and then monthly upon renewal. If your payment doesn't go through or if you're not approved, we'll initiate a refund, which may take up to 7 days to reflect on your account.

You are encouraged to consult your FSA/HSA administrator or insurance carrier for specific rules and regulations.

Your payment information is handled by Stripe. You'll get multiple emails after your initial and recurring payments with links to manage your payment methods directly on Stripe's site.

We aim to disqualify during the intake process the best we can. If a provider reviewed your intake form and deemed this medication not eligible based on your medical history or answers to your questions then a full refund will be processed. Your safety is our priority.

Should you not qualify for a GLP-1 treatment, we'll promptly process your refund. Contact support if you encounter any issues with this.

Medications

GLP-1 medications increase feelings of fullness, reduce hunger, and help in blood sugar control, which collectively support weight loss by reducing caloric intake.¹

Compounded medications are custom-made by licensed facilities per a prescription, using FDA-licensed ingredients. They're tailored but not FDA-approved like commercial drugs since they're prepared for individual use.¹

Compounded Semaglutide and Tirzepatide vials with syringes for subcutaneous injection.¹

If you're new to medical weight loss, you will start at the lowest dosage and increase gradually (0.25mg weekly for Semaglutide, and 2.5mg weekly for Tirzepitide). If you're on a current prescription, you can upload it and the provider will try to give you that dose. If you are refilling, you can request an increase or decrease in your dosage during the refill process.

Key concerns include gastrointestinal side effects, potential for pancreatitis, and nutritional deficiencies if diet isn't managed. Always discuss risks with your provider.¹

Yes, side effects might include nausea, vomiting, or injection site reactions. There's also a risk, though rare, of pancreatitis. They're not recommended for those with a history of certain thyroid cancers. Review the Important Safety Information for more details.¹

Due to high demand, Novo Nordisk, the company behind Wegovy, Ozempic, and Saxenda, foresees shortages in the availability of these medications. They expect the demand for Wegovy to surpass the available supply. Patients might encounter challenges in obtaining Wegovy prescriptions at the doses of 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, and 1 mg, as well as Saxenda prescriptions, throughout 2023 and potentially beyond. It has been observed that nearly half of the patients still face difficulties accessing the affected Wegovy and Saxenda doses even after waiting for a month.

Diddly Health and its affiliated healthcare providers are taking additional measures to assist patients in their weight loss journey. We are helping patients to access compounded GLP-1 medications (e.g. compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide) that are readily available while the brand name drugs are in shortage to assist with the continuity of treatment.

Providers may adjust the treatment plan for patients if deemed clinically appropriate. These adjustments could involve prescribing alternative GLP-1 medications, working collaboratively on a personalized treatment plan, or suggesting modifications to diet, lifestyle, and fitness activities.

For patients starting the Diddly Health Weight Loss Program, the initial steps remain unaffected by the supply issues. If a provider decides that a GLP-1 medication is suitable, the sooner a patient joins the program, the quicker our team can work towards assisting you with your weight loss journey.¹

Fulfilment and Shipping

Our GLP-1 prescription program is integrated with mail-order pharmacy fulfillment to ensure you receive your medication conveniently and on time. By streamlining the refill process, we also help support your medication adherence, ensuring you have what you need for your health journey.

Your provider will submit your prescription directly to the pharmacy electronically. The pharmacy then takes over to fill your prescription in preparation for shipping to your provided shipping address.

Once the pharmacy ships your prescription, you will receive an email notification that your medication has been shipped along with tracking information.

Please refrigerate your medication upon arrival to maintain its effectiveness, though it's designed to handle short-term temperature variations during shipping.

Our pharmacy partners test to ensure medication stability at high temperatures during shipping. While it remains potent, it's best to refrigerate upon receipt for long-term storage.

No need to worry if your medication arrives warm. It's been validated to stay effective during transit. Just refrigerate it as soon as you can.

All medications are rigorously tested by our pharmacy partners for stability during shipping, ensuring they remain effective when stored as advised.

Your medication refills will automatically process monthly until cancellation. Payment is taken around the same time you first completed your questionnaire, alongside a mandatory renewal form. Medication won't ship until this form is reviewed, even if payment has been made.

Once your medical provider reviews and approves your prescription, it's sent electronically to the pharmacy for fulfillment.
